Owner & Director
Meet Neda
Hi, I’m Neda, the owner and director of Nest and Bloom Home Daycare.
My journey in early childhood education began long before Nest and Bloom opened its doors. I have spent years working closely with young children, including serving as a Lead Infant Teacher and Lead Young Toddler Teacher. Caring for children during these incredibly important stages of development shaped not only the educator I became, but also the philosophy behind Nest and Bloom.
My years in the classroom taught me that the earliest stages of childhood are about so much more than learning colors, numbers, or letters. They are about building secure relationships, developing confidence and independence, learning to communicate, exploring the world through play, and—most importantly—feeling safe, understood, and deeply cared for.
My background in child psychology has also greatly influenced my approach to early childhood education. I believe every child has their own personality, temperament, developmental pace, and way of communicating. Instead of expecting every child to fit into the same routine or learning style, I believe in meeting children exactly where they are and gently helping them grow from there.
After years of teaching in larger childcare settings, I dreamed of creating something more personal: a beautiful, nurturing environment where children could receive the benefits of a thoughtfully designed early childhood program while still experiencing the comfort, consistency, and warmth of home.
That dream became Nest and Bloom Home Daycare.
Our philosophy is inspired by Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches, with an emphasis on independence, child-led exploration, hands-on learning, sensory experiences, creativity, outdoor play, and respectful guidance. Our intentionally small group setting allows us to truly know each child—their routines, interests, personalities, strengths, and individual needs—and to build meaningful relationships with their families.
As a mother myself, I also understand how much trust it takes to place your child in someone else’s care. I want every parent to leave each morning knowing that their child is not simply being watched. They are being loved, taught, encouraged, comforted, respected, and celebrated.
Nest and Bloom is the combination of everything I have learned throughout my years as an infant and toddler educator, everything I believe about early childhood development, and the kind of loving environment I would want for my own children.
A little nest where children feel safe, loved, and confident enough to grow, explore, and bloom.
